This second solo CD, with the tongue in cheek title of, Cynon Delta Blues, represents a collection of raw country Blues songs, both covers and originals, recorded over a period of many years under various conditions, and finally brought together on this album. Here the Blues of Robert Johnson, Son House, Blind Willie McTell and Bukka White is given a new interpretation; not quite the originals, but a damn close approximation ! |
